Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

Fenix Pest Solutions respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it, in accordance with Quebec privacy legislation (Law 25).

Information we collect

When you request an estimate, we collect your name, phone number, email and the description of your pest problem. We only collect what is needed to respond to your request. We also record how you reached us, meaning the page you arrived on and, if you came from an ad or another website, which campaign or site referred you, so we know which of our efforts are working. We never sell that information, and we share it only as described under "Ad measurement" below, with your consent.

Text messages (SMS)

If you consent, we may send you text messages about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Your consent is not a condition of purchase.

Use of information

We use your information only to prepare your estimate, communicate with you and deliver the requested service. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

Our site uses two measurement tools, loaded through Google Tag Manager: Google Analytics 4, which gives us statistics about how the site is used, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which helps us measure the performance of our advertising. From your browsing, neither tool receives your name, email or phone number; the one exception, based on a separate consent you give when requesting an estimate, is described under "Ad measurement" below. What these tools collect depends on your choice in the cookie banner:

  • If you accept, these tools may set cookies and collect usage data tied to your browser: pages viewed, actions like completing an estimate, approximate location, and device and browser information.
  • If you reject, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics or advertising cookie is set and the Meta Pixel does not run. The Google script still sends limited, cookieless signals to Google, which include your IP address; Google uses them for aggregate statistical modeling without identifying you (Google Consent Mode v2).

Your choice itself is stored in a small first-party cookie (af_consent) for 180 days. It is strictly necessary to remember your decision and contains nothing else. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page; withdrawing stops collection in this browser from that point on and removes the measurement cookies it had set. Our host, Cloudflare, also collects aggregated, cookieless performance statistics.

The site keeps the campaign you arrived from (UTM parameters, ad click id, landing page, referrer) in your browser's session storage so that a request you send later can be attributed to it. This stays on your device, is deleted when you close the tab, and only reaches us together with a form you choose to submit.

Ad measurement

When you request an estimate through the contact form and tick the consent box, we also report that request to Meta (Facebook), the platform our ads run on, so we can measure which ads lead to real estimate requests. This report travels over a direct, secure server connection and includes your email, phone number and first name in hashed form: a one-way code that cannot be read back. Meta can only compare it against the equally hashed details of its own users to recognize a match; it learns nothing about people who are not its users. Technical details of the request (IP address, browser type) are included to improve matching.

This reporting is based on the consent you give on the request form and is separate from the Meta Pixel described above, so it applies regardless of your cookie-banner choice. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.

Retention and security

Your information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then securely destroyed. We apply reasonable measures to protect it.

Your rights

You may request access to your information, its correction or its deletion. For any question, contact us at 514-531-6074.
